The SWAGTRON SwagCycle E-Bike Review

If you’ve read my blog you’d know that I’m a huge fan of bikes.  Not only does biking save me a ton of money over driving, it’s great for the environment.  And thanks to my trusty electric bike, I can’t remember the last time I was stuck in a traffic jam.

Introducing the Swagcycle.

Which brings me to our new fancy commuter – the SWAGTRON SwagCycle.*  It’s a mini folding e-bike with an advertised speed of 10 mph and a range of 10 miles.**  Charge time is about 2.5 hours after the first full charge.

My favorite part about the SwagCycle is that it weighs only 29 lbs.  So it’s easy to carry up and down stairs, into coffee shops and in and out of my office.

One thing you might notice is that there are no pedals, so the SWAGTRON SwagCycle is essentially a scooter.  But if you’re worried about getting stranded somewhere without a charge, no problem.  The bike’s small size let’s you take it inside most places.  So if you’re at Starbucks, just fold it up, find an outlet and charge while you enjoy your brew.

Here are some videos of the SwagCycle in action.

And here’s a picture of the little guy next to my Vanmoof.

**Despite the advertised range, we easily get about12-13 miles on our trips.
