After reading My Money Blog by Jonathan Ping and LIVEFRUGALEE, I’ve decided to track my own net worth and keep myself accountable to my goal of financial freedom. Above is the first snapshot from Mint: Money Manager.
Not bad for a recent law school grad, right? In case you’re wondering, I worked for four years before law school as an editor, marketing specialist and sales account manager. I minimized my student loans in law school with my prior income and paid them off with my current income. The remaining $3,956.13 from undergrad will be paid off gradually at a low refinanced interest rate of 1%.
So what’s the final number I want to reach? $1,000,000 by 2030. I’ll continue to update my progress here.
